The Word is LOVE

The word is LOVE in February, and it inspired the theme for the calendar this month. While cards, flowers, gifts and chocolate (no chocolate for me, though) are common choices for celebrating Valentine’s Day, I want to raise our gaze heavenward to Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit who offer the perfect love. For we are loved not just with any kind of love, but with agape love – enduring, real, unconditional.

It is my prayer the Lord will empower us to love others in a manner similar to what He has for us. His very nature is love and He calls us to love Him, love ourselves, and to love others.
